Chaela Herridge-Meyer was raised in the Pacific Northwest and throughout Latin America where she and her family worked with fair trade craft cooperatives. After several years working for StoryCorps as a Mobile Facilitator, Outreach Coordinator and in the Press Department, Chaela relocated to Buffalo, New York, where she currently works with local non-profits to document their community's stories through audio and photography.

Recollective co-founder, Chaela Herridge-Meyer produced a series of audio and photo stories in collaboration with Jericho Road Ministries, a local organization dedicated to helping refugee and low-income community members living in Buffalo’s West Side neighborhood. The stories featured people involved in Jericho Road programs through an interactive installation event in Buffalo, NY.
